BASELINE

Prior to updating the project we should know what we had planned. To do so we will save one of our schedules as the baseline.

SAVE BASELINE

Any schedule(Time or Resource) can be saved as the baseline. The saved baseline will not be touched by PLANTRAC-OUTLOOK. No matter what changes you make to the project, the baseline will remain as saved. You therefore have a yardstick to measure current performance against.

Click View in main menu. Click Subproject. Click Tracking. The following window will appear.

Click Save Baseline. Click Early. i.e. we are going to save our Early Schedule as Baseline.

Click OK. The baseline will now be saved.
